Retiring Items 2012: Papers

Hey, guys! The new Close to My Heart book will be out on February 1st. Unfortunately, that means we will be saying goodbye to a lot of lovely products. I decided to list what I think are the most important ones here on the blog. If you want any of these items, order them as soon as you can. Ctmh will try to make them available through February, but there are no promises on retiring items. The earlier you get them, the better, just to be safe. Since there are so many items to highlight, I'm going to break the list up in several posts. .

Paper Packets Retiring: (please note that the matching StickEase Embellishments will also be retiring)
There are a lot of paper packs retiring, which on one hand, makes me a sad panda but on the other hand, makes me a little eager to see what all the new paper packs will look like. Mmmm... new paper!

Victory:
This is a very good little set for making military themed scrapbooks. It also works for little boy themed pages. I'm a little surprised to see this one go, since we don't have a lot of "boy themed" papers in the catalog.
Pemberly:
This set features pretty blues, paired with sunny, fresh yellows. Perfect for a variety of projects, it's a lovely little set. While being floral, it's not really so "old fashioned" looking.
Florentine:
This set features lovely shades of brown, green, blue and cream. Its a little more unisex than some of the other kits. I think it has a slightly indian feel to it. It reminds me of rich tapestries.

 Avonlea:
Neutral colors paired with wonderful wheels of color showcase photos from virtually any event--love that versatility!
La Belle Vie:
This set has deep purples, black and cream. The patterns to me, have a Victorian feel.
Flirty:
This kit features bold floral patterns with bright, vivid colors. This set features a bright pink, yellow and green. Give your projects a little "pop" with this set.

Moonlight:
This was this year's "Halloween set" although it can be used for more than just ghouls and goblins. Black, orange, purple and green are not just for trick or treating layouts anymore!

This is 2012's Christmas set. It's lovely in that it's festive, but it's not the usual Kelly green and bright red. Featuring little partridges and the colors olive, cranberry and sand, it's a gorgeous kit to scrap this year's holiday memories or to stock up on to make next year's cards.

Stella:
This paper set is cool and funky. Not your average paper set! Bright and colorful and perfect to give life to those muted photos and layouts. Rock out with the colors cocoa, bright blue and olive!
